This store is located in Ise City, Mie Prefecture. Ise is the city where Ise Jingu, the largest shrine in Japan, is located.

The approach to the shrine, “Okage Yokocho” and “OHARAIMACHI Dori” are lined with restaurants and eateries, and even if they are not lined with restaurants, you can often find delicious seafood restaurants in Mie Prefecture, which is located close to the sea.
This time, in Ise City, where seafood restaurants are the rightful rulers, we decided to enjoy meat, and not beef or pork, but chicken barbeque.

Due to the nature of the restaurant, there is no counter seating. There is plenty of parking space, but the restaurant also offers set menus for purely enjoying a meal without alcohol, so it is a restaurant that will be useful for a variety of occasions.

Menu and Taste

The menu. Yakitori early chicken restaurants are generally reasonably priced.

Drink menu. Beer prices are normal, and there are some Okinawan dishes on the menu as another feature of the restaurant. There is also an “Awamori with Seekwasa” as a part of the menu.

First of all, beer. Since you are grilling chickens, the first drink of the day is beer, no matter what anyone says.

Kimchi, which is common in restaurants that grill meat, is my personal favorite with a little sourness.

I casually ordered a half-size salad and a regular-size salad, and this was a half-size salad. I couldn’t help but ask the waitress twice about the volume, and it was only 250 yen.

Now, the main dish, teppan-yaki, the first one was salt. For those who have a strong jaw, I personally recommend the “hine,” which is the best choice for chicken, and the “skin,” which is unique to chicken.

The skin is thin, but it doesn’t cook well, so I decided to sear it until it was crispy, even though I didn’t want it to burn. It didn’t make any sense at all when I thought about it, but I ended up dipping it in the restaurant’s special sauce, which wasn’t enough.

The regular yakitori menu is also available. This time, I chose the tebasaki, which is not a skewer, but a chicken wing. It is an orthodox type of chicken, not the Nagoya style.

The tail yaki is also chicken, not beef. The size of the chicken is cute, but the fatty texture of the tail is more satisfying than the beef.

This is the second teppan-yaki. This time, we ordered Harami, which is rare for chicken, and Seseri, which is exquisite in terms of meat and fat.

Many sake drinkers are impatient and tend to get impatient, but as a reminder, this restaurant’s fire is set low. Unlike beef, the chicken is cooked slowly and thoroughly, and the fact that there is not a trace of burnt meat on the menu is a testament to this.

Now, if it were a normal restaurant, we would change restaurants here and go to another one, or to a ramen restaurant to finish off the meal. Or, I would have gone to a ramen shop to finish my meal, but to tell the truth, it would have been bad for both my wallet and my health. However, this restaurant offers the same kind of Okinawa soba as it is for the final dish.

The tasty and refreshing soup and the noodles are so chewy that you will not be tempted to go to other restaurants. This is the ultimate in health.
